Lift the top sifting tray, and shake it a bit to sift
the waste from the unused litter. | 2.
Discard the waste and place the sifting tray into the
empty tray. | 3.
Pour the litter from the full tray through the sifting
tray and place the empty tray on the bottom. |

Pros: Santa Claws came a little early for me and my cats. I had asked him for an automated little box cleaner, but I ended up with something better for $80 cheaper. The Lift N' Sift. Holy crap (pun intended)!! I've only used it once, and it's so wonderful. My heart is so full of love for this product!
And you may argue, Lann, it's been in your bathroom for maybe 10 minutes. What if the litter clumps in the grates?
It will still take less time to clean. Also, I could always put a regular pan on top, the sifter in the middle, and a regular pan under that, if it proves to be a problem.
No pieces that might break, no expensive filters to replace, and no more digging for buried treasure! I may actually clean the litter every other day like I'm supposed to!
Cons: It only comes in blue. I mean, I like blue/gray. I'm fine with it, but just saying.
My mother owned one of these years ago, and was disappointed that it's near impossible to find a hood to fit this (kitties need their privacy too!) and sometimes, the tray gets a little awkward, and litter gets on the floor.
