I am very fair skinned and have been using self tanning lotions, mousses etc. for years only to come up with marginal results. I purchased this system expecting that I would probably use it for the summer and at the end of the season put it in the closet to be replaced by the next "great" advancement in self tanning.I am pleased to say this will not be the case with this system because I absolutely love it!!! My friend (who is also very fair skinned) and I sprayed one another top to bottom and we patiently waited until morning to see the results. We were both delighted! We were prepared for orange, blotchy or streaky color and what we got was a smooth, even, natural looking tan!! The tan lasts for several (5-7) days and is super easy to apply. I do however suggest getting a friend to spray your back as it is a little difficult to reach by yourself.
