How they work-
Eagle Eyes use PST (Polarized Selective Transmission) to allow for comfortable brightened viewing, without the need to squint. 99 to 100% of both harmful blue, violet, and ultraviolet light, are blocked while other bright colors can pass through the lenses unhindered. Because Eagle Eyes uses filters similar to the natural filters in the eyes of a hawk or eagle, your visibility is improved rather than hindered as it is by many conventional sunglasses. Eagles have droplets of oil inside their eyes that filter out all harmful radiation. This filtering process dramatically reduces scattering of light and transmits only those wavelengths of light that allows the eagles to have high visual clarity. NASA Scientists and engineers decided that this technology could be used to make sunglasses lenses. They simulated the natural droplets of eagle eye oil and incorporated it into the Eagle Eyes lens.
