Pros: Star Trek Phase II (Formerly New Voyages) has been a labor of love for all its participants from the beginning. Exec. Producer James Cawley (Capt. Kirk) has taken his project from "let's play dress up" to a serious new Internet Age showcase for writers, technical creators, behind the scenes troupers and, of course, actors. Major professionals Takei, Koenig, Whitney, Windom, Crosby and the rest provide legitimacy of concept. But I'm looking forward to the careers that will be launched from this venue. Keep an eye on Christina Moses, Sulu's daughter Alana in "World Enough and Time". Think Sandra Bullock in "Demolition Man". She stole the movie from the likes of Snipes and Stallone. The engaging and lovely Moses has the potential to be as big a star from even more humble beginnings. (See her, too, in 1993s "Secrets in the Attic" from VidMark Entertainment).

Cons: Stiff, wooden acting from the series leads has been tempered a bit with some good coaching and most likely the very presence on set of talents like Takei. Still needs some polish, but its a far cry from "My dad has a barn! Lets put on a show!"

Pros: The team of professional fans have reclaimed the original Star Trek as Gene Roddenberry envisioned it. James Cawley with the help of George Takei have created an awesome Star Trek episode that should be ranked next to "City on the Edge of Forever"

Cons: no cons...

Pros: This TOS era outing from the New Voyages Team excels in all respects, from great characterizations, an amazing performance from George Takei and Grace Lee Whitney, superb special effects and music - and most importantly it catches the true spirit of TOS perfectly!

Cons: None really. This gang has improved remarkably with each outing. I can't wait to see more episodes from them (so the only con is I have to wait a while for the next one)
